Fox & Brown Literary and Film Agency is committed to bringing passionate romance stories to life, both in print and on screen.
Fox & Brown Literary and Film Agency was established in 2024, inspired by the successful trilogy authored by Gabriella Hudson, which culminated in her final book, Liberty Jane. Seven years after publication, Gabriella adapted the story into a feature-length screenplay, during which she discovered a deep passion for the worlds of publishing and filmmaking.
Having navigated the entire creative process, from writing to screen adaptation, Gabriella recognised the challenges faced by both authors and filmmakers. Driven by a desire to support others in realising their creative ambitions, she founded Fox & Brown to offer professional guidance and support to aspiring writers and filmmakers.
The agency specialises in memoirs, both fiction and non-fiction, and welcomes submissions from across the globe. Based in Harrogate, on the edge of the scenic Yorkshire Dales and close to Brontë country, the head office is ideally situated in a region rich in literary history.

MEET THE FOX & BROWN TEAM

I have always cherished a deep love for writing ever since I was a little girl. The magic of words and storytelling captivated me from a young age, and this passion only grew stronger over the years. In 2001, I graduated from university with a BA (Hons), a milestone that marked the beginning of my journey into the literary world. Shortly after graduation, I embraced the joys of marriage and motherhood, dedicating my time to my family.
After several years, I rekindled my passion for writing. My first foray back into the literary scene was with my debut book, A Year of Tiramisu. This book was published by an independent publisher in London, and its success motivated me to continue writing. Following this, I penned its sequel, A Year of Sinatra, which further explored the themes and stories introduced in my first book.
Through Fox and Brown, I aim to create a nurturing environment where creativity can flourish, and where emerging talents can develop their skills and achieve their aspirations in both literature and film. My journey from a young girl with a love for writing to a published author and screenwriter has been a testament to the power of perseverance and passion. I am excited to continue this journey, supporting others as they embark on their own creative paths.
